Brave & Bold Blog: Overcoming Challenges to Immunization in Northern Nigeria

The Sabin Vaccine Institute recently published a new blog as part of their Brave & Bold series entitled "Overcoming Challenges to Immunization in Northern Nigeria", featuring the story of Boost member Tina Iroghama Agbonyinma. The article highlights Tina's efforts to immunize zero dose children, especially the challenges she has getting to hard-to-reach, underserved settlements across Nigeria in the face of security challenges, gender barriers, and vaccine hesitancy. Tina reflects on the adaptive leadership and community activation skills she learned through several Boost courses, especially the 2021 Boost Flagship Fellowship, and how these skills have aided her immunization work.
