Sabin, in collaboration with Washington State University, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Kenya Medical Research Institute, is conducting a study funded by the Wellcome Trust to improve cholera vaccination strategies. The research focuses on the immunogenicity and effectiveness of Euvichol-S oral cholera vaccine in Nairobi, particularly in high-risk areas like Mukuru. It includes a randomized controlled trial exploring optimal dosing schedules and an evaluation of Kenya's first preventative cholera vaccination campaign. To learn more, click the link below.
