WHO Global Action Plan on Promoting the Health of Refugees and Migrants, 2019–2030

In 2017, the Seventieth World Health Assembly reviewed the report on promoting the health of refugees and migrants (A70/24) and the Executive Board's decision (EB140(9)), leading to a request for the Director-General to develop a global health strategy for these populations. A draft of the WHO global action plan for 2019–2023 was presented at the Seventy-second World Health Assembly in May 2019, receiving broad support and resulting in decision WHA72(14) to monitor its progress. In May 2023, the Seventy-sixth World Health Assembly extended the plan's timeframe to 2030.
