Checkout this resource on tuberculosis (TB) service delivery published by JSI! Addressing the complex challenges of TB service delivery, especially among urban migrants and homeless populations, is crucial for India to eliminate TB. To reach these groups, India’s National TB Elimination Programme enlisted the TB Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA) project to fund Humana People to People India (HPPI) in implementing the Leveraging, Engaging, and Advocating to Disrupt TB Transmission (LEAD) project. This TIFA Accelerator Series story highlights HPPI's strategies, including mapping high-risk areas, recruiting and training community health workers, and conducting door-to-door screenings to identify and treat TB cases. It also spotlights Rohit's journey from a TB survivor to an HPPI educator, exemplifying the impact of the LEAD project, which aims to enhance early detection, improve treatment adherence, and reduce transmission among India's most at-risk communities.
