Immunization professionals all around the globe are constantly facing challenges and barriers that impact their work and the communities they serve. However, the way these challenges are addressed differ drastically depending on the context, or much of the time immunization professionals are left without any support or practical solutions to handle the challenges.

One of the most innovative approaches to overcoming challenges is by learning from peers and experts through experience and idea-sharing. This not only provides a mechanism to generate effective solutions but can motivate immunization professionals to go further to address future challenges. By sharing knowledge, engaging in dialogue, and staying connected, we can tackle any immunization challenge, together.

Join this live session to learn more about the power of peer learning and how to harness your power not only as an immunization professional but as a member of the Boost Community.

The Road to Vaccine Acceptance: Where is the voice of the community?

Presented by: Team Community Activators

Adefunke AdesinaAhmad Nusrat, Chinyere EdebeGunjan TanejaMutwali Adam

Often while speaking about hesitancy, program managers and implementers tend to be at the center of deliberation of what can be done to ensure that vaccine-hesitant groups transform into vaccine acceptors. However, what is usually lacking, is the voices and contributions of the greater community that can influence vaccine acceptance.

During this live engagement, participants will be introduced to the key principles of community activation; techniques and approaches that have been used across health and allied sectors to address multiple challenges. Additionally, participants can look forward to hearing examples from on the ground through case study sharing and panel discussion that will highlight how challenges of vaccine hesitancy were addressed through these concepts of community activation.

We hope to see you at each session!
