Sabin Vaccine Institute President of Global Immunization, Anuradha Gupta, joined a recent episode of Getting to Zero on July 25 2023. Anuradha spoke to Sabin Rising Star, Dr. Sangwe Clovis Nchinjoh, about HPV and ways to improve immunization coverage based on his experiences in Cameroon. Dr. Nchinjoh, founder of Cameroon's Rural Doctors, gives a perspective from on-the-ground about what's needed to protect against illnesses, including ending cervical cancer with the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. The two also discuss how to get to zero cases of cervical cancer, a goal of Sabin's Global HPV Consortium, starting with co-creating customized solutions with communities and people whose health and lives are at the center of it all.
