The Boost Community invites you to start your Boost Learning Journey today!
Boost offers several different learning opportunities for immunization professionals centered around our foundational pillars of Adaptive Leadership and Community Activation - pivotal frameworks that help address challenges faced in your everyday work. These introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses are carried out through our online platforms and engaged community.
Begin your Boost Learning Journey with two introductory, self-paced courses offered through one of Boost's online learning platforms called EdApp. EdApp is a mobile-based application centered on micro-learning, where course participants learn through short and engaging modules, which can be completed on their own time. Each course takes about 2-4 hours to finish and a Certificate of Completion is awarded upon completion.
Following completion of these introductory courses, the next step of your Boost Learning Journey is our live intermediate courses, such as Storytelling for Change, followed by advanced courses, such as Advanced Community Activation Training. Introductory Self-Paced Courses
Introduction to Community Activation
This course aims to build the capacity of immunization and other health professionals for community activation and advocacy. It is created to support them on their journey to assume roles of community organizers and build community capacity to improve the health and wellbeing of people.
Discover Your Leadership Moment
This globally recognized leadership development course is for immunization and other health professionals hoping to mobilize people to tackle complex problems. The self-paced course strengthens participants’ capacity to lead consequential, “adaptive” change in challenging and uncertain contexts, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
How To Get Started in EdApp
Step 1: Click on this link from your mobile phone to download the EdApp
mobile application from the Apple or Google Play store.
Step 2: You will be prompted to download EdApp onto your phone.
Step 3: Once downloaded, open EdApp mobile app on your phone.
Step 4: You will be brought to a link to sign up for an EdApp account through Boost.*
Fill out all necessary fields (name, email, password, and language).
*If you are asked for an Invite Code, please type in the following code: ALOFDJIMVCF
Step 5: Press “Create an EdApp account”
Step 6: Once complete, you will be brought to EdApp’s "For You” page with both courses.
Step 7: Click on one of the courses and get started!
