WHO Call For Experts: Immunization and Vaccines Related Implementation Research Advisory Committee (IVIR-AC)
The World Health Organization (WHO) is looking for experts to serve as members on the Immunization and Vaccines Related Implementation Research Advisory Committee (IVIR-AC). The IVIR-AC reviews quantitative methods in vaccine-related and implementation-related research as well as advises the Department of Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals (IVB) on their relevance and applicability and provides advice and recommendations.
Who Might Be Eligible?
IVIR-AC is looking for healthcare professionals, healthcare regulators, and scientists with advanced skills in: mathematical modeling or quantitative methods in vaccine research; economic analysis of vaccine development, planning and/or implementation; vaccine programme implementation and evaluation, social and behavioural science; value estimation of vaccines, including pricing, procurement, needs estimation and/or regulation of medicines; and health systems and programme delivery
The committee will be expected to meet annually at least two times virtually or in person, usually for 4-5 days each time. Interim ad hoc teleconferences to discuss urgent action items may be required of the members. The working language of the group will be English.
Approximately 3 members will be selected.

- A cover letter, indicating your motivation to apply and how you satisfy the selection criteria. Please note that, if selected, membership will be in a personal capacity. Therefore do not use the letterhead or other identification of your employer);
- Your curriculum vitae; and
- A signed and completed Declaration of Interests (DOI) form for WHO Experts, available at https://www.who.int/about/ethics/declarations-of-interest.
After submission, your expression of interest will be reviewed by WHO. Due to an expected high volume of interest, only selected individuals will be informed.
