Global Survey on Health and Safety of Health Workers in COVID-19

The World Health Organization (WHO) is carrying out a global survey to collect opinions of frontline health workers, managers, administration and support staff in health facilities, and practitioners in occupational and environmental health, IPC, psychosocial support in the health sector about the risks for their health and safety at work and the level of protection they have at the workplace, now in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey was inspired by WHO and ILO and colleagues from occupational health, IPC, health workforce and mental health have actively contributed to the questionnaire. The results will inform our actions about targeting the most important risks for health and safety of health workers and the preventive measures in health services. The survey also contributes to raising awareness among responders about the risks for health and safety and their prevention.
