[PRELIMINARY RESULTS CONTINUED] Survey: How can countries prepare for a COVID-19 vaccine?

Nov 17, 2020

[PRELIMINARY FINDING] Respondents so far highlight ‘training and capacity building’ for both technical skills needed for implementation (76%) and to support leadership, coordination and management (58%) as key needs for countries as they prepare for the COVID-19 vaccine

Are these the most pressing country needs? What other support would decision-makers and immunization professionals benefit from as they prepare for the COVID-19 vaccine? Tell us in the comments!

These findings are preliminary and the survey closes on November 19. We would like to hear from you on what support countries will need to prepare for smooth and effective introduction of a COVID-19 vaccine --> start the survey now in English, French or Spanish.

Your responses will be used to inform our action planning and next steps. Thank you in advance for your participation!

The COVID-19 Vaccine Equity Project supports immunization professionals and stakeholders in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to plan, prepare for and operationalize COVID-19 vaccine introduction programs.
