GSK’s Africa Open Lab is inviting early-career African scientists to submit concept proposals for research on infectious diseases. Projects should focus on epidemiology, prevention, control, medicines or vaccine uptake in Africa. Support includes funding, mentoring, and access to GSK resources.

🗓️ Key deadline: Concept submissions due September 3, 2025 (14:00 GMT)
📚 Focus areas:

  • Malaria (e.g. treatment compliance, vaccine uptake, vector biology)

  • Tuberculosis & drug-resistant TB

  • Drug-resistant bacterial infections

  • Enteric infections
