🎉 WHO World Immunization Week 2025: Immunization for All is Humanly Possible
From April 24–30, we join the global community in celebrating World Immunization Week under the theme “Immunization for All is Humanly Possible.” Over the past 50 years, vaccines have saved more than 154 million lives – that’s 6 lives every minute.
Vaccines are one of the greatest achievements in global health, accounting for 40% of the improvement in infant survival. But our work isn’t done. The future of immunization lies in reaching zero-dose children, protecting grandparents from flu, babies from malaria and RSV, pregnant mothers from tetanus, and girls from HPV.
We’re at a crucial turning point: gains made through decades of collaboration are at risk. Let’s recommit to equitable immunization access for all – because less disease and more life is not just a dream, it’s possible. Access WHO's resources and join the campaign!
