Saudi Arabia has confirmed its $500 million commitment to the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) to help eliminate polio in Pakistan and Afghanistan and address vaccine-derived outbreaks. This funding will support the vaccination of 370 million children annually over five years.
