Sabin Vaccine Institute Begins Phase 2 Clinical Trial for Sudan Ebolavirus Vaccine

In a critical step forward to combat a deadly disease that has no approved vaccines, Sabin launched a Phase 2 clinical trial for our Sudan ebolavirus vaccine. Adult volunteers received the single-dose vaccine at our partner site, the Makerere University Walter Reed Project (MUWRP) in Uganda. The trial will soon expand to Kenya. Similar-stage human trials are also underway for a Sabin vaccine against Marburg virus disease in Uganda and Kenya. To read more, click the link below!
